Must have an understanding of the sales side and be able to communicate to manufacturers, vendors and customers
to increase independent store sales.
Maintains the proper inventory levels while controlling turns at the proper level. Purchases ad merchandise as needed
to fill ad orders.

|The incumbent should possess the knowledge and skills generally associated with a bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent, plus 3 - 5|
|years progressive experience as a successful meat department manager, meat merchandiser/specialist, and meat department operations and buying.|
|Should possess industry knowledge of all species of meat. Should possess full understanding of computerized buying system, and Microsoft|
|Office applications. Should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills on the phone and in individual/group settings.|
