  • Overview

    This is a full-time electrical Mechanic position with the following schedule: Monday - Friday from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm.


    Entry - $20.35

    12 months - $22.96

    24 months - $25.09


    Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:


    1.Performs maintenance on MDI and MDI Management facilities electrical systems.
    2.Performs facility maintenance including diagnosing electrical circuits, pneumatic systems, motors, PLC and mechanical systems.
    3.Perform regular preventative maintenace on machines, equipment and facilities
    4.Diagnose problems, replace or repairs parts, test and make adjustments as needed
    5.Comply with safety regualtions and maintain clean and orderly work area.
    6.Must be compliant with local, city, state, and national electrical codes.
    7.Monitors and analyzes ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems.
    8.Record and maintains accurate work order and records into computer.
    9.Must be able to work in all warehouse environments.
    10.May be required to perform other tasks as necessary.



    Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; two years vocational or specialized maintenace training preferred.

    Minimum 5 years experience in electrical maintenance

    Must have advanced AC electrical experience and basic hydraulic experience

    Ability to pass mechanical applitue test.

    Must be certified to drive a lift and pallet jack

    Must own complete hand tools as required to perform job as well as roll away tool box Preferred to have a "limited electrical license" in the state of NC

    Must have knowledge of high voltage systems, 600v.AC three phase 480v., 277v., 208v.

    Must be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and carry cell phone and/or pager as required

    Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
