Major Functions:

  Manage the activities of 4+ sales representatives and 1 merchandiser in NC region while growing sales with current customers and researching/developing new business opportunities  

Responsibilities:

1. Accountable for achieving sales budget for their respective region
2. Develops and is accountable for growing sales with new business and existing accounts
3. Directs the efforts, coaches and develops sales representatives within their region
4. Monitor and ensure maintenance of merchandising standards in assigned area
5. Assists District Manager and HR Manager in developing performance goals, professional development plans, succession planning and completing yearly appraisal process
6. Provides support to representatives on escalated customer issues and acts as liaison between representative and senior management
7. Works with District Manager and HR to assess headcount needs and assist in the recruitment and hiring process of viable candidates
8. Accountable for positive customer satisfaction metrics within their region

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
• 5+ years sales experience with 3-5 in a leadership role
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and meet deadlines timely 
• Bilingual preferred
