Overview

Provide administrative support to help achieve the goals and objectives of the assigned department.

Level 4 Hourly

Responsibilities

  • Assist Shopper Mkt Mgr. with execution of merchandising programs.
  • Assist in accurate & timely billing of promotional monies from vendors.
  • Process sales plans, contracts, invoices, credits, handbills, and related paperwork.
  • Assist in proofing creative content and managing timelines of all Shopper Mkt deliverables.
  • Perform promotional form maintenance to align with Shopper Mkt Events.
  • Assist in preparation of PowerPoint performance recaps.
  • Answer vendor & customer calls in a proper and timely manner and provide necessary assistance.
  • Compile reports, flyers, correspondence; communicate to vendors/customers as needed.
  • Provide clerical support within Services Department; maintain communication with Services Department team.
  • Awareness of marketplace, competition, media & marketing trends.
  • Assists with Merchandising Show activities as needed, show preparation, and related paperwork.
  • Work cross-functionally with merchandising groups; provide back-up coverage for others when needed (i.e. vacation coverage, etc.)
  • Assist on special requests/projects.

May be required to perform other tasks as necessary.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or 2-3 years related experience.
  • Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel and Word, excellent phone skills, filing, and PC experience.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize workload. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  •  Exceptional follow through, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  •  Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  •  Strong data entry and ten key skills.
