• To act as liaison between transportation, warehouse, and customer service to ensure timely action on
customer issues and truck deliveries
• Provide support in problem resolution of order question related but no limited to routing, delivery times,
missing items, shorts, and damaged product
• Communicates daily with customer service, inventory control, routers, and management within warehouse on
any needs with customers
• Assist in coordinating and routing of special trucks when needed
• Uses transportation software PeopleView to ping trucks for location and update customers on deliver times if
needed
• Locates missing or damaged items and communicates with Shipping Manager as to credit approval
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and work on your feet constantly
• Must be able to drive a lift and pallet jack
• Assists warehouse auditors as needed
• Back-up to mail clerk when absent
• May be required to perform other tasks as necessary
• Working knowledge of shipping functions, Triceps and Mainframe experience preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work alone or in a team setting
• Sense of urgency and ability to meet tight deadlines
