Overview

Responsible for successfully implementing large strategic initiatives and/or wholesale transformations made up of multiple programs prioritized by the senior executive team. Provide all strategy, leadership, and program management required to ensure that the strategic initiatives realize the expected business value in a timely manner.

1. Align senior executive team upfront on strategy, vision, benefits, and approach.

2. Establish sponsorship and program governance.

3. Leverage consistent program methodology to develop roadmaps that identify critical milestones for achieving the desired state.

4. Provide visibility to critical known risks and interdependencies.

5. Provide updates on initiative progress, cost and benefits, and recommended course corrections (if needed).

6. Enable business process and people change management.

7. Provide necessary and timely communications.

8. Manage risk by ensuring timely discussions of issues and enabling decision-making.

9. Assist functional teams with structure, overall cross-functional knowledge, and coordination to enable deliverables.

10. Build roadmaps and work breakdown structures, identifying cross-functional dependencies/implications.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field. Master's Degree preferred.

• At least 5-10 years of experience in business management, strategy, or operations including 3+ years leading projects and teams.

• At least 5-10 years of experience in roles requiring critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Exemplary time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

• Demonstrated experience leading without authority, horizontal program management, and influencing/coaching upwards, lateral, and downwards.

• Ability to quickly learn business initiatives and build roadmaps and work breakdown structures, identifying cross-functional dependencies/implications.

• High degree of knowledge of program/project management fundamentals including managing scope, timelines, and budgets.
