Overview

Assist in cycle counting throughout the warehouse to ensure inventory remains accurate.  Also generate records and reports as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and updating with a high degree of accuracy and detail, all records/inventory counts
• Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock
• Report discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
• Works with other departments, responsible for slotting, TiHi, and all item attributes
• Keys adjustments related to any action that has an impact on inventory
• Responds, researches, investigates questions via email or phone call on topics ranging from date checks, slot counts, UPC codes and quality concerns
• May be required to support recall pulling and adjustments
• May be required to operate a lift, pallet jack or other necessary equipment
• May be required to perform other assignments requested by the manager, within the scope of function/department and with proper training, as needed.

Qualifications

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Must be responsive, professional and cordial with all communication, verbal and written
3. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
4. Familiarity with 10 Key
5. Must be able to work in any department and temperature zone
6. Must be able to reach/lift/stack totes and cases ranging up to 65 pounds
7. Must be able to work unsupervised and be self-motivated
8. Must have good general math skills
9. Must be able to pass the receiving and inventory control tests
