Maintain the data accuracy within PeopleNet and CAMS software systems. Repair and replace system hardware as needed.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot Hardware System issues and repairs. Work with Transportation Systems Supervisor, IS Department, and software vendors to resolve system issues.
Maintain and update software on handheld and PeopleNet equipment as required.
Upload PeopleNet delivery information and CAMS routing information. Verify and maintain accuracy of daily transactional data and fixed database records for CAMS and PeopleNet.
Maintain/edit driver logs to assure correct data flows to peripheral systems. Forward findings to appropriate managers.
Identify and submit daily route updates to Transportation Routing Manager.
Key and categorize delays in CAMS and develop spreadsheets for Transportation management.
Create and distribute reports to appropriate personnel as needed, including backhaul performance, general delays, driver wait times, etc.
Match CAMS route data and PeopleNet data.
Review CAMS travel matrix data discrepancies with Transportation Routing Manager to ensure accurate CAMS reports.
Assist Transportation Systems Supervisor and other supervisors in training new drivers on proper use of PeopleNet equipment.
Maintain state-by-state fuel reporting for auditing reports.
Perform additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications
The incumbent should possess the skills and knowledge generally associated with an Associate’s degree in information technology or a related field.
2-4 years’ experience in a transportation environment
Must have intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
Experience in database operation, especially SQL, is desired.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Able to drive a Semi Trailer Cab in a yard preferred.
