Overview

Marketing Manager - Loyalty

 

Responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive customer loyalty program strategy to drive
customer retention, engagement, and increased sales by creating targeted marketing campaigns, analyzing customer
data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the loyalty program experience across retail channels.

Responsibilities

Accountabilities:

  • Build and execute loyalty program strategy based on research, benchmarking, and defined audience.
  • Develop potential loyalty program structures with differentiated benefits and reward tiers to incentivize higher customer spending.
  • Leverage brands and partnerships to build a strong following of loyalty programs and create engagement around branded and sponsored content.
  • Advise MDI sales team and retailers on loyalty promotions that that will retain and grow their customer base.
  • Initiate and execute ongoing promotional calendar planning with brand / category teams, retailers and marketing stakeholders.
  • Develop omnichannel marketing plan to ensure all promotions and campaigns are amplified across other platforms: Facebook, other email marketing, website, etc.
  • Create and manage targeted marketing campaigns across multiple channels to promote loyalty program enrollment and engagement while developing communication strategies to highlight  program benefits
  • Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to optimize ROI and encourage frequent customer interactions.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners responsible for loyalty program platforms to monitor and address any issues related to functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop loyalty program metrics, identify key customer segments, and develop a reporting cadence and communicate results to retailers.
  • Track and analyze analytic reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; utilize this information to positively affect future outcomes.

Qualifications

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge generally associated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
  • 5+ years experience in marketing, loyalty marketing or merchandising
  • Experience in project management and managing annual planning
  • Self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative loyalty program concepts
