Data is at the center of all of Alex Lee’s wholesale and retail grocery business operations and business insights.  The Master Data Management Technical Lead is responsible for ensuring technical implementation and maintenance of the MDM enterprise solution. This is a Technical Product Owner role who works in collaboration with business partners to unlock the value of data within the organization.

1) Lead the implementation of the master data management solution, system configuration, system integrations, and data quality standards.
2) Serve as Technical Product Owner for the SAAS based Stibo STEP MDM solution.
3) Collaborate with business teams on data requirements for product, supplier, customer, locations and other pertinent master data management domains.
4) Develop, test, and migrate into production, system workflows to move data across enterprise systems.
5) Lead technical discussions with 3rd party providers of data feeds for product and product images.
6) Provide 3rd party providers with integration connections that are secure and optimized for data storage capacities.
7) Build out web UI forms for data input within Stibo STEP based on business requirements.
8) Lead internal discussions and work planning for data integrations across multiple enterprise systems.
9) Develop and maintain diagrams of architecture, data flows, and information maps.
10) Map out and configure authorization and permission levels in collaboration with Business Data Owners.
11) Provide direction to DBAs and Developers on source data transfer mapping.
12) Lead discussions on metadata classifications and hierarchy planning.
13) Coordinate change management efforts across multiple IT teams.
14) Drive continuous improvements to ensure data integrity and efficient data processing.
15) Define indicators of performance and quality metrics and ensure compliance with data related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent work experience.
• 5-7 years of Technical Product Owner experience.
• Experience and demonstrated accountability for a data management system.
• Experience working within a Data Governance framework.
• Experience managing an enterprise SAAS system with multiple instances.
• Experience leading data integrations across an enterprise landscape.
• Ability to work collaboratively within other IT teams and business owners.
• Experience managing large scale IT change management initiatives.
• Proven ability to self-manage and complete project deliverables.
